Who am I

1. I will be teaching fourth grade at Herriman Elementary it is a year round school.

2. My favorite books are the Chronicles of Narnia. I like these books because they have good life lessons, action, and imagination.

3. I only watch "The Biggest Loser" My wife and I love the idea of people changing their lives. Other than that, its probably PBS kids shows for our three kids.

4. I liked the lord of the rings, trilogy because it was well done all around and I like the messages of overcoming great odds with the most unlikely of heroes.

5. I am really good at making things with wood. If I have an idea, or If I can see it I can make it! I just made a dinosaur out of wood for my book box in literacy.

6. A talent I wish I had is to be able to just go up to people and always be confident and know what to say and when to say it. I guess that is achieved by practice. I would also like to be able to play the piano.

7. I grew up playing baseball, basketball, football, invented games, and mountain biking. My wife and I are considered the "athletic couple" in my family. When I got married, my wife signed us up for a 10K run and I liked it. So now my wife and I are runners. I just finished my first half marathon, and look forward to a full marathon. I also enjoy road biking. Last spring, I finished a 106 mile long bike ride in St. George. It was mentally one of the toughest things I have ever done.

8. For visual arts, I like to draw, watercolor, and sculpt a little, Drama I like to go to plays with my wife, I have gone to several plays at the Capitol Theater, as well as local productions. Dance, well, I cant dance, but I always wanted to learn how so I could take my wife dancing.

9.Musically I have never taken any lessons for any kind of music. I grew up in a family of 9 and lessons were too expensive. I do love good music in just about any form. I don't really like rap or the new pop singers that have come out. I like music that has good instruments, good voice, good message in the lyrics.

10. If I were not doing the Internship this summer, I would probably be training for the LOTOJA Bike race. Its 212 miles from LOgan TO JAckson I really like to bike, and love to compete in races. I would also be looking for a job, and trying to spend as much time with my kids as I could.

11. I am excited and scared all rolled into one summer.
